Dear Ventura Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome you to Ventura Elementary School, where every student, family, and staff member is a valued part of our One Ventura family.

Whether you are returning for another year or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school community. I extend a special welcome to our new students, families, and staff. Your talents, experiences, and perspectives make our school stronger, and we are excited to begin this journey together.

At Ventura Elementary, we are many families united by one heart and one shared purpose—to ensure every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to succeed. One of the many ways we fulfill this mission is through our outstanding Two-Way Dual Language Program. This unique opportunity allows students to become bilingual, biliterate, and culturally proficient while learning alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. In today's global economy, the ability to communicate in more than one language is a powerful advantage. Our Dual Language Program equips students with skills that will open doors to future academic, career, and leadership opportunities while fostering a deeper appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
