Extended Day
The hours in between school ending and parents returning home from work are crucial hours in the life of a child. Afterschool programs provide students the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, interact with their peers, work under the care and supervision of supportive mentors, build on lessons learned during the school day and more.

Extended Day is available to all VPK through 5th Grade students at Ventura Elementary! Safe, fun, and convenient care before and after school.

*Deposits made are good for the life of the program and refunded upon program exit. For example, if a VPK student enrolls in Extended Day during the 2026-2027 school year, their deposit will stay with them until they exit the program, as late as the end of grade 5.*
