Dear Ventura Elementary Families,

It is with immense pride and excitement that I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year at Ventura Elementary! I am honored to continue serving as your principal and to embark on another incredible journey of learning and growth with our exceptional students, devoted staff, and supportive families.

At Ventura Elementary, we are dedicated to cultivating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can flourish. Our school community thrives on a foundation of respect, kindness, and a genuine passion for learning. We believe in the unique potential of each student and are committed to inspiring and challenging them to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our Journey "Around the World in 180 Days"

This year, get ready for an adventure! Our exciting new theme is "Around the World in 180 Days." Throughout the school year, we'll be exploring diverse cultures, fascinating geography, and incredible traditions from every corner of the globe. From the bustling markets of Marrakech to the majestic mountains of the Himalayas, our students will gain a broader understanding of the world and their place within it. We'll integrate this theme into our lessons, activities, and school-wide events, making learning an engaging and immersive experience.

The Power of Presence: Why Attendance Matters

To truly embark on our "Around the World" journey and make the most of every learning opportunity, regular attendance is absolutely crucial. Every day at school is a vital part of our students' educational experience. Consistent attendance ensures that your child doesn't miss out on important lessons, engaging activities, and valuable social interactions. When students are in school consistently, they build stronger foundational skills, develop positive routines, and feel more connected to their teachers and peers. We understand that sometimes absences are unavoidable, but we encourage you to prioritize daily attendance as much as possible. If your child must be absent, please communicate with us so we can support their learning.

Partnering for Success

Your involvement is a vital part of our school's success. I encourage you to join us on this global adventure, whether it's through volunteering in the classroom, participating in our themed school events, or joining our School Advisory Council or Parent-Teacher Organization. Your partnership makes a significant difference in the lives of our students. By working together, we can connect families through education and community involvement, strengthening the bonds within our Ventura Elementary family.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. Together, we will make this a fantastic year filled with discovery, growth, and joyful learning experiences as we travel "Around the World in 180 Days"! If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Here's to a successful and inspiring school year at Ventura Elementary!
