Welcome to the Ventura Elementary School art page!
The Art Room at Ventura Elementary is always a busy place. The students love to come in and express themselves. They are encouraged to use their imaginations as they create ‘masterpieces’ and grow in their self-confidence. We work on taking responsibility, communicating and cooperating with each other.
We explore drawing, painting, and studies of master artists and their techniques. We have a Square1Art fundraiser at the beginning of the year that helps fund the visual art department. Our students participate in several local art festivals as well as state and national art competitions. The culminating experience of each year is our Ventura Art Show. Every student exhibits multiple works of art and families are encouraged to come view the masterpieces on display!
